When: Open weekends and Memorial Day -
April 29 through June 11, 2006. Open rain or shine on Saturdays from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm and Sundays from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. Special Dress rehearsal day, April 22 with shopping from 2pm to 6pm!

The Village stays open late on May 20, 27 and June 3 until 9:00 pm for the magicial experience of a renaissance village after dark. Guests with campers or RV's are welcome to camp free for the weekend. No tents allowed.

What: Meet hundreds of family members living, working & playing in Southern California’s only permanent Renaissance Village. Visitors to this 1450-1600 European Village are entertained, discover fine arts and crafts, and enjoy delectable food and beverages. The setting is the fictitious estate of the Baron Heinrich Von Lauffer, located along the Rhine river (aka Santa Ana River) between Mainz and Strasbourg. Each year the Baron invites the finest minds and most talented actors to celebrate the coming of spring at his Barony of Koroneburg. The festival celebrates the inventions and changes of the renaissance period.

Where: Crossroads Riverview Park (formerly Prado Basin Park, on land leased from the US Corp of Engineers and Riverside County Parks & Open Spaces District), at 14600 River Rd, Corona, CA (get directions). The festival uses 9 beautiful acres of the 120-acre park. Just minutes from major metropolitan cities in Riverside County, San Bernardino and Orange County. The park is nestled among eucalyptus, cottonwood & pepper trees.

Open Dress Rehearsal April 22, from 2-6 pm – just for shopping – no entertainment. Some merchants will be open with wonderful specials. Admission is only $5.00 for our special Shopping day. Experience some behind the scenes workings of the Festival.The Festival is open seven weekends and Memorial Day:

April 22 – Dress Rehearsal. Shopping open from 2pm to 6pm. No staged shows this day.

April 29, 30 – Opening weekend – Celebration of the Renaissance .

May 6, 7 – Robin Hood and His Archers Weekend hosted by the Archers of Ravenwood. Meet Robin Hood and his Merry Men – participate in Archery. Children up to 12 admitted free with Robin Hood or Maid Marian Hat or costume. Don’t have a hat? Buy one outside the Gate!

May 13, 14 – Celebrate Mother’s Day weekend. Special admission for kids 6-17 only $3.00. Treat Mom and the Family to a royal weekend. The first 500 Moms get a free flower both days. There is a special brunch on Sunday, Adults - $15.00; Kids - $7.50. Make reservations for the brunch early!

May 20, 21 – Science, Technology, and the Arts of the Renaissance. Open Saturday from 11:00am to 9:00pm.

May 27, 28, and 29 – Chivalry, Knights and Maidens. A grand celebration for the Memorial weekend this year! There will be parades, fun and a very special Memorial Day service on Monday at 12:00 noon. Active Military with military ID get in Free this weekend only! Open Saturday from 11:00am to 9:00pm.

June 3, 4 – Baron's Birthday Weekend. A 50th year grand celebration. Open Saturday from 11:00am to 9:00pm.

June 11, 12 – Fun, Revelry and a Warmhearted Farewell to the spring!
